That picture doesn’t have anything to do with my post, but it made me laugh a little. And well, everyone likes pictures.
But yer, it’s been a while since i’ve posted on here, and that’s not really down to any reason at all. It’s not because I don’t adore you all and the Page Views I get, or because I acidentally got hooked up with Aerial on a massive date that if I didn’t woo her I would end up on the end of King Trident’s… well, trident. No, it’s neither of those reasons, but purely because I haven’t found 10 minutes or so alone with my pc as it’s usually busy keeping WoW going, or even DIABLO MOTHA FUCKING 3 TRAILERS!!! Oh yer, Diablo III bitches. If you’re a fan of Diablo and you haven’t seen or heard anything about the announcement of Diablo III then you really should be shot. The trailer looks amazing, and the gameplay footage looks even better. But that’s enough about bumming the BEST GAME EVA!
So yer, since i’ve posted a fair bit has happened. I can’t remember if I posted in a previous post but I’ve now finally finished college, hip hip hooray! I had my last exam over a week ago on a friday and it actually went pretty well. I’ve also now joined the gym. Seeing I have 3 months off I probably shouldn’t spend it all at my computer making retort at some one else’s expense through boredom. Instead, i’ll be down the gym pumping the guns. That’s a lie really, it’s more likely that i’ll be sweating heavily whislt trying to do 2km on the urgo in a reasonable time. I’ve already gained 3 blisters from today’s workout and also nearly rocketed the heart rate monitor on the treadmill. But yer, hopefully I should improve over the summer as I spend more time down there.
Now onto the important information. Dr Who. I havent written about Dr Who in a while (maybe never?), but saturday’s episode; The Stolen Earth, was absolutely brilliant. Has to be the 2nd best episode of the series; with Midnight being the best because of it’s great plot and great acting, with it’s emphasis on good plot supported by CGI, rather than bad plot trying to be polished with CGI. But as they say, you can’t polish a turd. Stolen Earth however didnt have a turd that needed to be polished, but instead had a possitive equivilent of a turd. The shots of the 27 planets were great and the tie-ins with all the characters were plausable and well done. It’s also nice to see the Daleks being portrayed as evil as they should be, with their creator and Lord; Davros, being very much involved. It’s also nice to see Tennant’s Doctor get shot and needing regenerating. It leaves alot of questions for the last episode; on saturday, and also who the next Doctor might be.
I want John Simm but since he’s already played the Master, it makes it less likely. If they did choose Simm, it would probably be explained that his appearance/essence or something got left with the Doctor causing him to change into him. But like i’ve said, unlikely. James Nesbit has been rumored a long time ago as being the next Doctor, but i’m personally not sure on how good he would be as the Doctor. But it’s highly possible, as he’s another good BBC actor, along with Simm and Tennant. It could even be Kris Marshall, an excellent actor in my opinion. But my instincts tell me that it will be David Tennant again as he is contracted til ’09 and will be explained with some bullshit that he wants to stay with Rose as he was. But yer, any of the above are possible.
But yer, I think that’s enough for one post, so i’ll write again tomorow.
